The Utah Lake Authority works with government partners, property owners, stakeholders, and others to encourage recreation, clear the way for improvements, and adopt management strategies at Utah Lake. We want you to love the lake as much as we do.
Everything we do is to make the lake a fun, safe, and accessible place for everyone!
We exist to help you get the most of Utah Lake, one of Utah’s largest natural treasures. So, utahlake.gov serves as a public portal to help promote, sustain, and protect the lake.
Who We Are
We’re lake lovers! Whether we grew up here or somewhere else, all of us love and appreciate the beauty and recreation Utah Lake has to offer. Our team sees the potential in the lake and wants to do our part to improve any areas we can and make sure that the lake is healthy and full of life.
The ULA strives to:
- Encourage and promote multiple uses of the lake
- Aid communication and teamwork between Authority members and the public
- Promote resource utilization and protection
- Maintain and develop recreation access
- Keep watch of and promote positive economic development
As we address these issues, we hope to protect, preserve, and enhance the lake for everyone to enjoy.
